"April 14 - Mary Ellen has just gotten over a hectic week. She's cutting four upper front teeth & they've really given her a bad time. She threw up in the carriage last Saturday and that was the start of it. She ran a fever & had the runs & throw-ups until Thursday. Yesterday she was better & today we can say she's really over it. It seems so good to have her back to normal again that even when she is bad we can't complain. Today she started wanting to eat everything she saw on the table (even baked beans) and wanted everything else that caught her attention. Yesterday she bit thru the cellophane wrapper & took a bite out of the fish I bought for supper. Good thing it was pre-cooked. And this morning she ate a good share of mine & Daddy's grapefruit."
